Per il ruolo del rocker inglese sono stati proposti Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell e Jack Black, ma Ozzy ha le idee chiare: ''Non voglio qualcuno come Johnny Depp perche' gli americani non riescono a fare l'accento di Birmingham''.
La pellicola sulla vita dell'ex idraulico parlera' della vita del cantante dagli esordi dalla sua carriera, comprese le pesanti sbornie e il periodo trascorso in carcere per tentato furto con scasso.
Ozzy Osbourne wants a real-life Brummie to play him in a new movie about his life - not a Hollywood superstar.
JOHNNY DEPP, COLIN FARRELL and JACK BLACK have been linked to the role as the Birmingham-born heavy metal legend. But Ozzy said: "I don't want Johnny Depp or someone from the Hobbit films, because Americans can't do Brum accents.
"It would be good to get someone from Birmingham to play me."
Ex-BLACK SABBATH singer Ozzy, 61, may even hold X Factor-style auditions to find the right man.
The film will chart former plumber Ozzy's hell-raising early life - including his heavy boozing and his spell in jail for burglary.
